What is the Google Index?

This is like a library made up of all the web pages that Google knows about.

What does index mean?

It is the process that is carried out when Google appends a web page in its index.

What is Google Search Console?

This is a free service from Google that allows you to see the indexing status of our websites.

What is a server?

This is a system that provides information to other computers which are called clients. The servers usually store the information of each website such as images, files, videos and different types of documents.

What is a database?

This is a set of structured and related data that can be consulted by clients.

Steps to add website in Google Search Console as a property:

1. 1. You must first enter this Google Search Console website with the following link. https://myproducts123.com/blog/2021/05/04/add-website-in-google-search-console/

1. 2. In the box with the title Domain you must type the name of your domain at the bottom as I show it in the following image.

1. 3. Now you must click on continue.

1. 4. Here you must copy the txt record. You must click on the copy button.

1. 5. Then you must enter the cPanel of your server.

1. 6. Inside cPanel you must go down and click on “Zone Editor”

1. 7. Now you must click on the Manage button of the domain to which you want to add the txt record.

1. 8. Now you must click on the button “Add record”

1. 9. In the name field we are going to type the name of our domain

1. 10. In the Type field we are going to select TXT

1. 11. In the Record field we are going to paste the TXT record that we copied in step number 4

1. 12. Now you must click on “Add Record”

1. 13. Here you will see the following message telling you that you have added the TXT record successfully.

1. 14. Now we return to the Google Search Console website and click on verify.

1. 15. Now it will show us a message where it will tell us that our property has already been verified.

Google Search Console is a tool which helps the website administrator to check website performance. Here I will show which queries are the ones that generate the most traffic and also the performance that this has on a cell phone. It will also tell us if our website has errors and what we should do to fix them to improve the performance of our website.

In case you do not have a server and a domain, you must buy it. In this explanation I am using a server that I bought at https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/shared/, I acquired the Stellar plan which already brings the domain and allows you to store up to 3 sites. To store the remaining 2 websites you must buy only 2 domains and link them with the server in case you don’t buy them at namecheap.com.
